Puning Dried Tofu is a Han folk snack and one of the specialties of Puning City, Guangdong Province.

The first people to make dried tofu were people from Guangnan Village, Liaoyuan Street, Guangdong Province. They learned to make dried tofu as early as the early Ming Dynasty.
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, heroes arose everywhere, and the Central Plains was in chaos.

After the death of Beishan Xu, the grandmother of the second generation of the Chen family in Guangnan, Liaoyuan Town, it happened that the local master He Yeyun lived here, so the descendants asked him to find a place to build their grandmother's tomb. The process flow is: soaking beans, grinding pulp, removing slag, boiling pulp, testing powder, adding gypsum powder, sprinkling brine, briquetting, sealing, briquetting cloud acid water, cooking, etc.
