There are two things you can do after you leave the chef school. One is to do it for others, and the other is to do it for yourself. So specifically, what are the more suitable jobs:
1. Although there are many jobs for chefs, students can choose according to their hobbies and specialties after employment, but in terms of career planning, there are generally three career paths.
2. The most common way is to choose the most people. At present, the chefs in many catering enterprises are all from wok-frying masters, and some find another way, specializing in cold dishes, pastries, roasted meat, western food and other fields, and can be independent and thus advanced chefs. This is a technical route.
3. Although the chef can be said to be the pinnacle of the technical route for many people, it is not the pinnacle of the chef's career for a small number of chefs. Some well-trained chefs with outstanding management skills can manage several kitchens, upgrade to the executive chef and manage one or several hotels, which belongs to the management route. Although the relative technical requirements are not high, the requirements for hotel catering management and operation are extremely high.
4. The third way is to start a business by myself. Compared with other industries, the catering industry has low cost and low risk, which is the choice of many old chefs with many years of work experience.
