Patrice University, located in the Greek city of patra, was founded in 1964. It is the third university in the world, covering an area of 2.4 square kilometers. When the college was founded, it mainly focused on science, technology, economy, business administration and social sciences, and now it has expanded to other academic fields such as health care science and humanities. Besides education, the school has also made brilliant achievements in basic and applied research. In addition, it has won an international reputation for its pioneering and extensive research in environment, health, biotechnology, machinery, electronics, information and basic science.
Patrice University is divided into five colleges: Natural Science College, Engineering College, Medical College, Humanities and Social Sciences College and Economics College. There are 22 departments: biology, chemistry, geology, materials science, mathematics, physics, architecture, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering and information, electrical engineering, department of mechanical engineering, engineering science, medicine, pharmacy, early childhood education, philosophy, drama research, business administration and economics.
