The most commonly used words are:-) for smiling and:-(for unhappy. XD, which stands for laughter, is also very popular (this is also the most commonly used American Chinese character in Hong Kong). Other common ones are: -o (surprise) and: -p (sticking out your tongue, that is, joking). Because the containing word type is an incomplete expression inclined to the left. The Japanese have also used emoticons for a long time. In recent years, they have developed them and established a set of Japanese characters. Japanese characters are much more complicated than American characters. They are more lovely, creative and artistic. Today, the Japanese are experts in ASCII art, how to make complex patterns, and even ASCII art animation and computer software have appeared. However, some netizens in Japan deny that Japanese characters are influenced by the United States and even use Japanese characters to illustrate the superiority of Japanese culture. Many Japanese people (especially people in Channel2) don't recognize Yan characters as ascii art, and even think that Japanese things should be called jis art (because Japanese uses JIS code), while foreigners' things are ASCII art. "[1] On 2ch, the largest bbs portal in Japan, you can see all kinds of rich and wonderful characters, and in the famous Electric Bike Man, Oguri Shun always plays a very cute character pattern at the end. It is the representative product of network culture and the crystallization of collective wisdom. Yan characters were originally just a network subculture. With the popularity of the Internet and mobile phone short messages, they have been widely accepted by the society.
