Huanggang has a long history and culture, with a history of more than two thousand years.
Huanggang's revolutionary tradition is brilliant. It is an important residence of early Party building activities in the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the center of Hubei, Henan and Anhui revolutionary base areas.
Huanggang gradually inclines from north to south. Dabie Mountain is located at the junction of Henan and Anhui in the northeast, and its main ridge is northwest-southeast trend. There are 96 peaks at an altitude of 65,438+0,000m. The elevation of the main peak of Tiantangzhai in Luotian and Yingshan counties is 1.729 meters, which is the highest point in the city.
