After visiting three K11s in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Wuhan,
I actually had high expectations for Guangzhou K11.
I reported for duty on the first day of opening at the end of March.
I didn't find much special except conformity.
Although the opening day is a good thing,
it is really impossible to experience all kinds of design details.
the first time I came here, my experience was basically only 8 points.
The second time I came to K11,
I came to CGV Cinema to see Ready Player One on a short holiday day,
The overall design sense and viewing experience of the cinema were added points.
But every floor is still crowded.
The third time was last weekend.
It seems that we have finally passed the punch-in stage of the road network and the masses, and
we are slowly seeing some details.
Then, for the fourth time today,
I found a working morning to visit carefully,
I finally found the correct way to open Guangzhou K11:
I entered the main entrance of K11 through La Oreja de Van Gogh, and
I was inadvertently looked up and saw the scene in seconds (as shown above).
At first, I always felt that the space was a little crowded.
The use of gold was too noisy.
But today, I found that it was really caused by too many people.
The banyan tree representing Lingnan stands in the atrium.
There is a reassuring beauty.
On the other side of the doorway is the work of the artist Xu Zhen.
Eternal Life-The Statue of a Carved Bodhisattva in Northern Qi Dynasty and the Amazonian Barbarian
puts forward the thinking on political culture in an artistic way.
As for how to interpret it,
it is the audience's own right.
At present, there are not many officially opened brands on the L1 floor.
It is IN ART WE LIVE where the most people gather to take photos and punch in.
Every time they pass by, they will be attracted by various pose taking selfies.
on the other side is currently Van Gogh SENSES? Dear pop-up shop,
Although I don't quite understand
why we eat in the Van Gogh theme restaurant,
(I'm more interested in the chef's restaurant than the theme restaurant)
pop-up shop itself is still beautiful.
Don't rush to the second floor.
The golden staircase wall decoration hidden behind the float is actually a work of art-
It comes from Gao Weigang's Sublimation,
vertically connects the spaces from L1 to L5,
and creates more imaginative possibilities.
(I just found the introduction upstairs)
L2: the trend of living
There are brands such as Onitsuka Tiger, Asics and GoPro on this floor,
But don't just want to skip this floor when you see sports brands.
Opposite the golden staircase on L2 floor,
It's the colourless bottle under the inconvenient noodle restaurant.
Under the mysterious and cold white appearance,
people are a little confused about what they are selling, and
they can't help but scan the code ...
Even on weekdays when there are not many people,
people keep coming to take pictures (well, including me).
There is a side door leading to the external covered bridge next to the colorful bottle.
Turn right at the side door,
Your Nara Yoshitomo suddenly appears,
A gray and gentle Big-headed Dog.
On the other side of the second floor,
is Quan Wuxiang's work Elephant.
The works introduce objects mixed with various consumer cultures, and
they are attached to elephants for re-creation.
But all I can see is the meerkat who stole the mirror!
the layer that emphasizes the design sense of clothing.
The "tree house" looked up at L1 atrium,
From this perspective, it really presents the appearance of a stage.
I'm looking forward to what kind of performances will be held later.
This escalator goes straight to L5.
If you take it directly, don't forget to skip L4.
On the left side of the escalator is a semi-open art covered bridge.
The recent exhibition
L 'Air et les songs
by artist Yao Xiaofei is open in different periods and needs to be queued in.
Another landscape that has exploded the circle of friends is
L3' s retro cosmetic mirror.
Today, I happened to meet a mirror that no one posed for, only to find out that
It turns out that it belongs to ShineJuice.
The cosmetic mirror is really eye-catching.
It is estimated that the juice needs to Shine a little more to attract attention.
Yishangmen, a designer collection store, has also settled in K11,
but it seems to be a little close to the previous store in Mall of the World,
and it only takes less than ten minutes to walk there.
There is a device in the corner of L3, which
needs to be seen when it is quiet.
The Voice of Secrets by Indonesian artist Bagus Pandega,
He interviewed many people from different backgrounds and
invited them to tell their innermost secrets.
You can try to listen to it when it's quiet ~
My favorite floor (none).
chi K11art space is located in L4.
The first exhibition is "You Go to the Border Tonight" by contemporary artist Chen Wei.
after seeing the exhibition,
you can directly enter the Cafe and K11 Art Alliance Experience Store from the exit.
(Tickets are required for the exhibition)
September art on the other side of L4 is also a cross-border form of exhibition+coffee+art shop.
The recent exhibition is the Skin Peeping by artist Sun Jiaxing.
(Tickets are required for the exhibition)
The multimedia installation Time Tower next door to September Art,
is from artist Wu Juehui.
if time is visualized,
which period of time do you want to see?
in addition to the art space,
this floor also contains a number of cultural and creative brands, such as
BADMARKET, Zhepin and Shude Life Museum.
If you have to find faults,
it can only be said that it is not the first store in Guangzhou,
It would be better if more new brands come in ~
The biggest surprise for me is Lego,
Yes, you know that Lego.
Guangzhou city view and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall made by Lego master,
The impression has gone far beyond the category of toys.
the city farm and CGV cinema are all in L5,
and Mr. Cai Hao and his team with good wine and good Cai are the best dishes as consultants.
(What are the delicious side dishes of Zhengzheng will be written next)
However, compared with K11 in Shanghai,
the area of urban farms is a little cramped,
I wonder if there will be new areas to open.
Another destination worth looking forward to,
B2' s Yanjie Bookstore has not been officially opened.
I have been puzzled by this name for a long time.
I finally figured out whether it is "Yanjie" or "Yanjie".
I also found a store with an interesting concept in B1:
O bag from Italy,
From bag body and inner container to handle and strap,
you can freely combine and match them.
that is to say,
one bag can realize multiple combined functions.
switch between backpacks, handbags and even beach bags.
this is a new idea to improve the utilization rate of bags.
There are many new food stores on the other two floors.
I really can't write that much.
When I try a few more, I will write a sequel about K11 food ~
Actually,
what attracts me most about K11 is not the sense of art and design,
but the "fun of discovery".
whether it's a work of art&; Exhibitions, or brands that have settled in,
even small details in design,
new treasures can be found every time.
This process is
like talking to an interesting friend.
For me,
this is the greatest charm of offline physical commerce-
the sense of experience and unpredictability.
For example, the stairwell on each floor of the landscape elevator
has different decorations.
guess what the designer is trying to say?
Summarized the distribution of artworks and exhibitions I saw this time.
If you have anything to add,
You can tell me in the comments ~
