Lonely Gourmet Sendai is the fifth season special episode 2 Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture.

"The Lonely Gourmet" is a food drama produced by Japan's TV Tokyo. It is directed by Kenji Mizoguchi and Tadaki Hora, written by Yoshihiro Taguchi and Nao Itasaka, and starring Yutaka Matsushige. It premiered on January 4, 2012.

The play is adapted from the manga of the same name created by Masayuki Kusumi and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi. It is the first part of the series of the same name. It tells the story of Inokashira Goro, a man who runs an imported grocery store alone, who goes to a restaurant to enjoy delicious food during his break from work.
