During the summer vacation, my mother and I went to my grandmother's hometown of northern Shaanxi, where there were many delicious foods, such as noodles, jiaozi, cakes and bean jelly.

When we went to Mrs. Santai's house, we saw her family cooking delicious food and fishing noodles for the guests. They first knead the flour into a very hard dough, then put the dough into a dough press and a noodle fishing machine, and squeeze it with all their strength, and the noodles are squeezed out from the small holes in the noodle fishing machine. Long noodles are cooked in hot water, poured with all kinds of vegetables and meat fried soup, sprinkled with coriander and shallots, and you can eat delicious noodles. When eating, they pour some old vinegar and oil, which makes people drool.

What impressed me deeply was the long pancakes. Zichang is a place name, because there is a very famous general named Xie Zichang, hence the name. The famous foods here are long pancakes and bean jelly. It's very hot in summer, and it tastes refreshing.

The food in my hometown in northern Shaanxi is basically all kinds of coarse grains. I have fallen in love with the food here. Welcome students to taste the food there!
