Yuyao, the source of Yaojiang River in Ningbo, is located in the east of Zhejiang Province, on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay, between Shaoxing and Ningbo.
The Yao River originates from Siming Mountain in Yuyao. It has a total length of about one hundred kilometers and flows into the sea from west to east. The length of it flowing through Yuyao City is more than fifty kilometers. No wonder Yuyao people are proud to call the Yao River the "Mother River"
".
The source of the Yao River is located on a hilltop in Dalan Village, Dalan Town, Siming Mountain, Yuyao, about 45 kilometers away from Yuyao city.
It has to go through a rugged mountain road.
The road up the mountain has been paved with asphalt pavement. From the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there are many twists and turns. The speed limit is 30 yards up the mountain and 20 yards down the mountain. You have to be careful when driving.
Dalan Town, where the source of Yaojiang River is located, is in the heart of Siming Mountain. It is named after Dalan Mountain in the town.
The altitude of Dalan Mountain is not high, the highest point is about 700 meters.
Because it is located in a mountainous area, its main economic crop is tea. It is said that Dalan Town has a tea garden base of 25,000 acres and is also the hometown of high mountain Yunwu tea in China.
Climbing up the high slopes of Dalan Mountain, looking around, you can see the neatly trimmed bush tea trees, caged next to each other.
There are several farmhouses at intervals, with green tiles and white walls, located among the greenery, which is particularly eye-catching.
The tea trees in Jiangnan are completely different from the tea trees in Fujian and Yunnan. The tea trees in Jiangnan are mainly low trees, and tea leaves can usually be harvested from tea trees that are more than three years old.
The tea trees in the south are mainly tall trees. The older the tea trees, the more valuable they are.
Because morning fog usually appears in the mountains, when the sun just rises from the top of the mountain every morning, thick white fog will surge in the valley, like thousands of horses galloping, and like rapids rushing down, the scene is extremely spectacular.
We were shooting the sunrise in a tea garden at a B&B in Dalan. It was already noon when we reached the top of the mountain where the source of Yao River is located.
This strange natural scene has never been seen.
