Dongshan Island has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. The sea here is blue as the sky, the beach is long and soft, the sun is bright and abundant, the Woods are deep and vast, the white sails are dotted, and seagulls soar. It is an excellent tourist resort. Nearby cuisines include: Zhongyi oyster fried, Chen Shujia's and Chen Ji meatballs.

The main tourist spots are Fengdong Stone Scenic Area, Maluan Bay and Wujiaowan Seaside Forest Park.

Maluan Bay Beach, along the southeast coast of Dongshan Island, has seven bays: Nanmen Bay, Yunan Bay, Maluan Bay, Jinluan Bay, Donggu Bay, Wujiao Bay, aojiao Bay and Gongqian Bay. They are crescent-shaped and extend for more than 31 kilometers. The white beach is backed by lush forest belts and surrounded by clear water.

The small islands scattered in the bay complement the vast sea, forming a seaside tourist resort with sky blue, water blue, sand white, green forest, beautiful bay and strange islands and reefs. It is a national healthy bathing beach. Maluan Bay is 2,511 meters long and 61 meters wide. The beach is white and soft, thick and not sticky.
