As we all know, rapeseed oil is easily oxidized and rancid after opening, and is particularly difficult to store. The rancid rapeseed oil not only affects the taste and texture, but also seriously threatens our health. Therefore, pure rapeseed oil cannot be stored after cooking. So how should rapeseed oil be stored? Food experts offer advice:
1. Do not mix new rapeseed oil and old rapeseed oil together, because if the old rapeseed oil undergoes oxidative rancidity, it will easily be transmitted to the new rapeseed oil.
2. Pour the rapeseed oil into the oil pot and try to use it within a week.
3 Try to use up the opened large barrels of rapeseed oil within three months.
4. When buying oil, if you have a small family, it is recommended to choose small packages; this will reduce the storage time of oil.
5. You can use a black plastic bag to cover the rapeseed oil to avoid light and reduce contact with air.
6 When storing oil at home, try to keep the oil in a dark and low-temperature place.
7. If you are worried about the oxidation of rapeseed oil, you can go to the drugstore to spend a few dollars to buy a bottle of vitamin E, and then put one or two pills in the oil barrel to delay the occurrence of oxidation.
8. If you pour the purchased oil into an oil pot for use, the oil pot should be placed as close to the stove and window as possible, where oxidation occurs.
