Ningxia, known as "Jiangnan", is located on the Silk Road. Xixia Mausoleum is the imperial mausoleum and royal mausoleum of Xixia in past dynasties, which is praised as "mysterious miracle" and "Oriental pyramid" by the world. One of the largest royal cemeteries in China, with the most complete ground site and the largest Xixia cultural site. The scale of the mausoleum is equivalent to that of the Ming Tombs, with 9 emperors' tombs and 27 1 princes' tombs. The scale is grand and the layout is neat.

It absorbed the advantages of imperial tombs since Qin and Han Dynasties, and was influenced by Buddhist architecture, forming a unique form of China cemetery architecture. Here is a collection of deserts, Yellow River, mountains, oases, magnificent northwest and beautiful south of the Yangtze River, as well as historical sites such as Qin Changcheng, a world cultural heritage.

Shapotou's unique S-shaped geographical features are very similar to China's Taiji diagram of Yin and Yang, which was once introduced to the world as a world wonder by the famous American National Geographic magazine.
