4. Pilu Temple Nanjing Pilu Temple is located at No. 4 Hanfu Street, Nanjing City. It was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566). Because the temple worshiped Vairocana Buddha, it was originally named Pilu Temple.
