I like beautiful things, including beautiful poetry. The rhymes and counterpoints of ancient poetry fascinate me, but the artistic conception of modern poetry also fascinates me. Reading a beautiful poem can not only make me mentally intoxicated, but also improve my vision and mind.
Having said so much, I just want to talk about a book of poems I read a few days ago - "Hold You and the World". This book was written by a prodigal son who wrote poetry - Bai Wan.
After reading the preface of this book, I realized that this is a collection of poems with stories. Interested friends can go to the book to find the answer, I won’t go into details here.
Let’s jump right into the poetry of this book!
"Looking at the Sea"
If you are looking forward to the sea
You must wait two years before going to see the sea
See the sea

You will lose the sea
After reading "Looking at the Sea", we can't help but ask: Why do we lose the sea when we see the sea we are looking forward to? This is a very profound question.
Personally, I feel that this question can be extended to anything that is highly anticipated. It can be beautiful scenery like the sea, delicious food, beautiful things, or even beautiful people.
Think about it, do each of us dream about something when we are looking forward to it? Is it the most beautiful thing in your eyes? And when we own it, the joy and excitement will gradually fade away, and we will feel that this thing is nothing more than that. This may be a manifestation of human nature's love for the new and dislike of the old. However, this thing does not change at all before and after you get it. It is only because of the fickleness of people's hearts that what you have becomes no longer precious.
Think about it from another perspective, how many beautiful things have we already possessed in anticipation of it? Are they still there? If you are there, please cherish it!
"The Lasting Fragrance"
The moon passing by me shines into your window
The sun scorches me and dries your clothes
Whenever I look at the sky
I think so
I miss you leaving a lingering fragrance in the world
Floating in the moonlight
Swing in the warmth of the sun
Close your eyes and smell it
Taste it with your heart
This winter’s harsh frost
Resistance
"The Remaining Fragrance" is a very clever longing poem. Missing people can place their thoughts on the moon, the sun and the sky. Every place where a beautiful shadow has been left is the starting point of a missing person.
The past has passed away, and the faint longing left behind exists in the hearts of the lovesick people. If encountering the grinding frost, the lovesickness will turn into a lingering fragrance that can withstand everything.
A few words express the longing in the heart of a lovesick person, and the tenderness arouses a bit of melancholy in my heart. There are always some imperfections in the world, maybe imperfection is the true meaning of perfection!
"Silent"
Birds need nests
Stoves need fire
You need to be understood
But say nothing
People sometimes choose to remain silent. Often, this is the time when relatives and friends are least able to understand.
Maybe your silence is a kind of thinking. Think about the past, present, and future, as well as life, destiny, meaning, future, and even more, think about all the ways that can get you out of trouble.
Perhaps you are silent because you have not found a confidant to whom you can confide. It is enough for a person to meet a few devoted confidants in his life. If he has not met one yet, how can he casually turn his heartfelt words into frost?
Maybe your silence is just to stop the people who care about you from worrying. I am afraid that my relatives and friends will be troubled by my expression, so a quiet and peaceful atmosphere becomes the best gift for my relatives and friends.
Or a moment of silence is worth a thousand words!
Well, there are a lot of beautiful poems in this book waiting for you to read, if you are also interested in poetry!
