Pingtung University of Science and Technology is the most prominent school in agriculture in Taiwan Province Technical and Vocational College. The main popular departments are the Department of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Life Sciences, and the admission scores for applying for high school here are not low. It can be regarded as a relatively complete school in Taiwan Province Province except Taiwan Province Provincial University, Zhongxing University and Chiayi University.
