Luoyang Normal University is a provincial ordinary undergraduate college, located in Luoyang, the starting point of the Millennium Imperial Capital, Peony City and the Silk Road. The school is located on the bank of Yishui, under Wanan Mountain, where imperial academy originated in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
