I am planning a self-guided trip to Qingdao with my family in October, mainly because I want to see the sea in person. Anyone who has been there can give me some advice on routes and places worth visiting?

This is my travelogue to Shandong for your reference:

I have longed for Mount Tai for a long time, but I have never had the chance to go. No, the opportunity came. During the May Day holiday, I discussed it with my friends and decided to take a self-guided tour of Shandong. Since many netizens didn’t think highly of Jinan on the Internet, our starting point was Mount Tai. Below is our travel account for the past few days!

D1 arrived at Taishan at 7:00 in the morning. After leaving the train station and walking to the right for 3 minutes, there is a military guesthouse (this is important information I got from the travel notes of Ctrip netizens). A regular room for two people costs 100 yuan. Normally you can stay in a standard room at this price. At 8:00, we took bus No. 3 and headed towards Tianwai Village (a taxi cost about 10 yuan). Since we were really not confident about our physical strength, we decided to use Zhongtianmen as the starting point for our mountain climbing. Taishan tickets were added to the mountain. Total transportation plus insurance is 122 yuan, half price for students (this is the only place in Shandong where we can use our student ID card). After 5 hours of climbing, we finally reached Yuhuangding. Because it was raining lightly, we decided to take the ropeway. Going down the mountain, the ropeway fee + insurance fee is 47 yuan. It was already past four in the afternoon, and it was already too late to go to Dai Temple, so we filled our stomachs at the KFC on the first floor of Ginza. Our lunch was a bowl of shaved noodles for ten yuan on Tianjie Street. The bowl of shaved noodles was instantly recognizable. How many roots can you know!

D2 7:00 in the morning. Since I didn’t go to Chengdai Temple yesterday, my first destination this morning was the Dai Temple at the foot of Mount Tai. It costs 6.50 yuan to get a meter from the train station to Dai Temple. Discuss the price and it will be 5 yuan. Tickets for Dai Temple are 15 yuan/person. I personally think that you need a tour guide to visit the Dai Temple. Their stipulated price was 40 yuan. Since we went there early and there were not many tourists, the deal was settled at 20 yuan (awesome :)). After being led by a tour guide, we spent 2 hours visiting Dai Temple.

Take a taxi back to the train station. The bus to Qufu leaves from the square of the train station. The fare is 15 yuan per person. It is a very clean air-conditioned car and the journey takes about one and a half hours.

Arrived in Qufu at 11:00 noon. As soon as we left Qufu Bus Station, a tricycle unique to Qufu came up to take us to the Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion and other scenic spots. From the bus station to the Confucius Temple, you don't need to take a tricycle. It only takes 3 minutes to walk. The ticket to the Confucius Temple is 52 yuan. Since we went during the May Day Golden Week, a regular tour guide costs 80-100 RMB. There were only two of us and we really couldn’t bear to spend this money. Besides, with the 7,000-word three-hole guide we have in hand, we don’t have to worry about not understanding it at all. As soon as we entered the gate of the Confucius Temple, there were many wild tour guides looking for business. They usually asked for 30 yuan, which was more in line with our consumption, and we were immediately elated. We found an uncle who was about 50 years old. According to him, he used to be a staff member here, and his words were no worse than those of regular tour guides (which is true). Those regular tour guides have to pay 16 yuan for a ticket to enter the Confucius Temple, but he didn't need to buy a ticket. The Confucius Temple took us about an hour and a half. 50 meters away from the Confucius Temple is the gate of Confucius Mansion, also known as the Holy Mansion. The ticket price is 32 yuan. It only took us half an hour to visit Kong Mansion and take a tricycle to Kong Lin (2 people/3 yuan). The ticket price for Konglin was 22 yuan. I originally didn’t want to hire a tour guide, but a girl about 20 years old took the initiative to talk to me and asked for 15 yuan. I gave full play to my talent of negotiating prices and surprisingly got 6 yuan (of course this 6 yuan). Yuan Qian only covers the vicinity of Confucius' tomb). It was exactly 2:50 when we left Konglin. Take a tricycle to the bus station for 2 people/5 yuan. At first we thought it was relatively expensive, but when we got there, we realized that it was very cheap at only 5 yuan.

D3 Since we went to a classmate’s home in Shouguang, we didn’t arrive in Qingdao until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. There are buses from Qufu to Qingdao, but there are very few buses (it is recommended not to go from Qufu). If you go from Taishan to Qingdao, the transportation is much more convenient. There are both trains and cars.

After a friend introduced us, we stayed in a family hotel near Zhanshan. The price was 60 yuan for 2 people. It was really cheap, and the facilities were complete and clean. Great value! ! ! Highly recommended! ! ! In the evening we went to Weihai Road Pedestrian Street, which felt okay. We originally wanted to find a good restaurant for a meal, but our bags were almost cut open by a 15 or 6-year-old pickpocket on the way. I bought some dry food and headed back home!

D4 I got up early, ate some dry food bought yesterday, and went straight to Laoshan. Taking bus 302 at Zhanshan Station, there were simply too many people on the bus. After standing there for more than an hour, we finally arrived at Laoshan. When you enter the mountain gate, there will be staff on the bus to sell tickets. The ticket price is 50 yuan. Only Qingdao student ID cards can enjoy half price!

We were going to visit Shangqing Scenic Area, so we got off the bus at Bashui River. We started climbing the mountain and arrived at Longtan Waterfall in about 20 minutes. The waterfall here is very beautiful to me who has never seen a waterfall. After about half an hour, we walked to Shangqing Palace. I was very disappointed with Shangqing Palace. After climbing the mountain road for nearly an hour, we only saw a Taoist temple composed of a few small houses, and there was a 2 yuan ticket. They both shouted that they had been fooled. Since you can go up to Mingxia Cave by taking the ropeway down the mountain, and I heard that Mingxia Cave is better, we started heading towards Mingxia Cave.

I asked the Taoist priest from Shangqing Palace how long it would take to get to Mingxia Cave. He said half an hour (I later learned that this was the time he took to climb the mountain). We walked for 20 minutes and there was still no sign of Mingxia Cave. , I asked a person coming down the mountain how long it would take to get to Mingxia Cave. He looked at us and then looked up and said, "We'll be there in half an hour." I fainted! ! We had no choice but to climb up after walking so far. We walked for more than 20 minutes and asked an uncle coming down the mountain if we were almost at Mingxia Cave. He shook his head and said, "No matter what, it will still take more than 20 minutes." I fainted! ! ! Since we were a little weak in physical strength, we found a clean stone to finish our lunch and take a rest. After the meal, I felt really energetic and climbed to Mingxia Cave in a short while (so you must have enough energy to climb). The ticket price for Mingxia Cave is 4 yuan. As soon as we entered Mingxia Cave, we immediately felt that the climb we had taken for so long was not worth it! ! Why is it so different from what we thought! It takes about five minutes to walk down from Mingxia Cave to the ropeway station. The ropeway fare is 30 one way and 50 round trip. There is no ticket office on the mountain, but you can sit first and then go down the mountain to pay for the ticket!

After going down the mountain, it takes 20 minutes to walk from the cableway station to Taiqing Palace. The ticket to Taiqing Palace is 15 yuan. Taiqing Palace is pretty good. When we arrived, we asked the conductor and he said that the 304 bus did not leave at 5:00. In fact, due to the large number of people, there were many 304 and 802 buses heading towards the city. It was 5:40 when we got on the bus. There were buses behind us, but there were many people. a lot of! It was already past 7pm when we arrived in the city! (Personally, I think the management of Laoshan Mountain is chaotic and the scenery is not very good. It is better not to go there unless necessary.)

D5 This is our last day in Qingdao and the last day of our journey. After negotiation, we chose four places: May Fourth Square, Zhanqiao, Underwater World and Badaguan. Taxis in Qingdao are more suitable. Although the starting price is 7 yuan, the price starts at 4 kilometers. So the starting price is just the starting price in general places, and the price in farther places is around 11 yuan! A taxi ride from Zhanshan 2nd Road, where we live, to Wusi Square is 7 yuan. You can take a boat tour in Wusi Square, and the boat fare ranges from 20 yuan to 30 yuan. The taxi fare from Wusi Square to Huashilou in Badaguan is 7 yuan, and the ticket to Huashilou is 5 yuan. ***Fifth floor, with a sea view platform on the top floor, the architectural style is a typical European castle style, integrating Greek and Roman styles, and also has Gothic architectural features. The building surface is a combination of polygons and circles, and its exterior walls are inlaid with pebbles, so it is commonly known as the "Huashi Building". The underwater world in Qingdao was a failure of our trip. I really felt that the 100 yuan ticket did not match the seabed we saw. It was far from the Polar Aquarium in Dalian. It was too small! ! It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the underwater world to the trestle. The trestle is one of the important symbols of Qingdao. It is a must-visit place in Qingdao. There is no entrance fee. It is 2 yuan to enter Huilan Pavilion. It's very close from the trestle to the train station, only a 5-minute walk.

I got on the train home at 16:30 and started on my way home!

Our five-day trip to Shandong has come to a successful conclusion, and each person spent about 1,100 yuan.
