Lugu Lake Tourism

According to comrades of Lijiang Municipal Transportation Bureau, the collapse was caused by heavy rain on the afternoon of 18th. On the highway from Lijiang to Ninglang, there were many landslides, and the roadbed of one of them collapsed in a large area, causing traffic to be completely interrupted.

According to the reporter, there are dozens of coaches trapped on the road on the ninglang county side of the landslide. There are nearly a thousand passengers in these cars, most of whom are going to return to Lijiang after playing in Lugu Lake.

as of about 5 pm on the 19th, most coaches began to turn around and prepare to return to Ninglang County after seeing that the road section was still not open to traffic.

At present, the emergency repair personnel of Lijiang Highway General Section have rushed to the scene to carry out emergency repair work. Because it is difficult to repair the fallen subgrade, the time to resume traffic is still unpredictable.
