Community Introduction: This community is mostly composed of bungalows, all of which are old houses. The jurisdiction area is 0.23 square kilometers. The number of units is 297, including 1 central unit, 6 municipal units, 4 district units, and 160 individual businesses. There are 298 bungalows and 39 building doors. The floating population is 810. The main units include: Hebei Hotel, Peking University Cancer Hospital, Dongcheng District Health Supervision Package, Liubiju Pickle Factory, Beijing No. 1 Bus Factory, Industrial and Commercial Office, Tax Office, Ningxia Beijing Guest House, Daxin Textile Company, Zhongfu Mobile Phone Store, Fushan Hotel.
The jurisdiction of the community: the jurisdiction area is 0.23 square kilometers. It includes 13 streets and alleys, including Xiejia Hutong, Chejiandian Hutong, Chaibang Hutong, Yongheng Hutong, Lingguang Hutong, Lingguang East Lane, Lingguang West Alley, Huayuan Hutong, Huayuan East Alley, Huayuanqian Alley, and Huayuan North Alley. Nos. 13-181 on the west side of Annei Street and Nos. 2-20 on the west side of Shuncheng Street. It is bounded by the North Second Ring Road to the north, Branch Hall Hutong to the south, Beiluogu Lane to the west, and Annei Street to the east.
Huayuan Community is adjacent to Baochaonan Community, Zhonglouwan Community, Branch Office Community, Imperial College Community, Guowang Community, Wudaoying Community, Beiluoguxiang Community and Jiaobei Toutiao Community.
On January 13, 2021, Garden Community was rated as a demonstration community (village) for the creation of "Zero Drunk Driving" in Beijing in 2020.
Near the Garden Community are tourist attractions such as Bell Tower Bay Alley, the Palace Museum, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven Park, and the Imperial College, as well as specialties such as Tongrentang, Yilong, Wonton Hou, Grape Chang, and Beijing roast mutton.
