Wushitang is a seawall formed by natural forces.

Zhangzhou Bay is about 3 kilometers deep and 1 kilometer wide. The water depth in the bay ranges from 0.5 meters to 10 meters, and it gets deeper and deeper from the shore to the mouth of the bay.

There are three types of rocks in the mountains on both sides of the harbor, namely limestone, andesite and granite.

Medium gray greenstone accounts for 80%, andesite accounts for 15%, and granite accounts for 5%, which is consistent with the distribution of rocks in the south, middle and north of the mountain.

Wushitang is famous for its cobblestones. The cobblestones have colorful patterns, are smooth and lovely, ranging from small to pearls to as large as pebbles. They are comparable to Nanjing's Yuhua Stone.

Dawu Shitang is located on the west coast of Zhangzhou Bay, between Shuitayan at the southern foot of Dapinggang and the mouth of Xiaojiao in Miaohetou.

The hill outside the mouth of the small reef looks like a dragon's head raising its head towards the sea. Along the hill, the rocks stand upright and have a strange shape, like a dragon's eye and a dragon's mouth.

There is a rock gap next to the dragon's mouth, which local fishermen call it Dragon Cave.

Whenever a typhoon is approaching, this cave will make a huge roar, which can be heard ten miles away. At this time, the Wushi Pond and the Wushi that are sloping along the water will be uncharacteristically wrinkled and form vertical ditches.

Whenever there is a bright moon, the clear blue Zhangzhou Port sparkles like countless Smurfs jumping on the sea.

Under the moonlight, the waves, covered in silver armor, hit the beach one after another, playing the sound of "sand... la la... rustle... la la", just like the Sanskrit music of nature.

At this time, if visitors lie on the cool and smooth gravel, look at the bright moon, listen to the sound of the tide, they will feel reverie and fall into a dreamland. People call this scene "Wutang Tide Sound".
