It's only 2 hours' drive from Kunming to Chuxiong, and it serves as a transit point for the first day of the tour of the Central Yunnan Ring Road. The scenery of Chuxiong is far less than that of volcanic hot springs in western Yunnan and Lijiang in Dali in northeast Yunnan. Therefore, most of the guests here are Kunming locals, or tour groups who have made a special trip to Yi people's ancient towns to watch folk songs and dances and attend long table banquets.

"Chuxiong Museum" is a place worthy of recommendation in Chuxiong, and the latest eye-catching thing is the clothes of various branches of the Yi people in the Yi hall. Yi people's ancient town is an antique town built later. There are many handicrafts and local products for sale. Day 3: Chuxiong-Yuanmou

Chuxiong-Yuanmou County, about 3 hours' drive. Yuanmou is famous for Yuanmou people and Yuanmou soil forest.

it takes 4 minutes to drive from the county seat to Yuanmou soil forest scenic spot. Besides the well-known Wumao soil forest, Yuanmou soil forest also includes Langbapu soil forest and Banguo soil forest. If you are not a photographer, it is enough to go to Wumao soil forest. During this period, you can only walk, and generally stroll around for 2 hours.

Day 4: Yuanmou-Wuding-Yiliang

It takes about 2 hours to drive from Yuanmou to Wuding, and it reaches the Lion Mountain in Wuding, the first mountain in Southwest China. The attractions of Lion Mountain are the Zen Temple and the Peony. Located in the arms of Lion Mountain, Zhengxu Temple is full of incense and is the place where Emperor Jianwen became a monk in the Ming Dynasty.

At the same time, there are more than 4 acres of peony flower beds in Lion Mountain, and more than 4, peony plants are planted in Lion Mountain. Peony has been famous for growing in Luoyang since ancient times. Even the best peony flowers in Luoyang will become less huge and gorgeous because of "acclimatization". However, the Lion Mountain in Wuding broke the myth that peony lives in the Central Plains and declines when it goes south. Day 5: Yiliang-Shilin

Jiuxiang, 6 kilometers away from Yiliang County, is the main attraction of the cave. There are more than 1 large and small caves in the scenic spot, and the karst landscape in the caves is peculiar. To enter the scenic spot, first take the sightseeing elevator with a drop of 53 meters, go underground, and then take a cruise ship to go boating in the Yincui Gorge Valley. Walking to the Lion Hall, it is an open cave where the film Myth was shot. Visit the cave for 2-3 hours, and you can go back the same way or take the sightseeing cable car to the exit.

in the afternoon, drive along jiushi' a highway for 4 kilometers, and you can reach Shilin scenic spot. Day 6: Shilin-Luliang Colored Shalin-Alugudong-Luxi

From Shilin to Luliang Colored Shalin, there is no need to bypass Luliang County. The distance between the two scenic spots is 6 kilometers, and it takes 1 hour by car. The sand in the scenic spot shows different colors due to different mineral contents, and the visual effect is very layered due to climate, sunshine, angle and other reasons. Together with Shilin and Tulin, they are called "Three Forests in Yunnan".

The tour time of the scenic spot is 2 hours. After that, we will continue to drive 6 kilometers to visit the Alu Ancient Cave, which has the reputation of "the first cave in Yunnan". The scenic spot consists of Luyuan Cave, Yuzhu Cave, Jasper Cave and Yusun River Cave, and there are cable cars and ferries connecting different landscapes.

Day 7: Luxi-Fuxian Lake

It takes 5 hours to drive from Luxi to Jiangchuan Scenic Area of Fuxian Lake. Fuxian Lake, which spans Jiangchuan, Chengjiang and Huaning counties, is the first choice for Yunnan people to spend their weekends.

after you arrive at noon and settle down, you can taste the special dishes of Fuxian Lake. In the afternoon, you can swim on the beach of Sunshine Coast and row boats in Fuxian Lake. Recommended clockwise route around the lake: Sunshine Coast-Star Fish Cave-Bo Xi Wan in Lichang Village-Luchong Scenic Area (the oldest scenic spot in Fuxian Lake, with beautiful lake color)-Chengjiang County Lunch-Maotianshan National Geopark (Chengjiang Paleontological Fossil Group-Sakura Valley Resort-Landscape Avenue around East Lake Road (flower corridor stretching for 2 kilometers,-Jieyushi-Fish Spring-Sunshine Coast).
