2. Change the proportion. Which kind of green best meets your needs depends on what you want to draw. Pure green is not necessarily suitable. The easiest way to change the hue is to increase the proportion of yellow or blue. Add more yellow, green will be warmer, and add more blue, green will be colder. When changing the color tone, please try slowly bit by bit until the color tone is satisfactory to you.
3. Try different yellow and blue. Clear the space on the palette and try to mix several different yellow and blue colors. This will make green take on different tones. Pure yellow and pure blue can transfer pure green, but if these initial colors change before color matching, the transferred colors will be different. For example, when golden yellow is mixed with standard blue, it will appear darker brown-green. When the standard yellow is mixed with light blue, it will appear light green. To know what kind of green can be brought out by various blues and yellows, doing experiments is the best way. Choose several different shades of yellow and blue. Mix a yellow color and a blue color in the ratio of 1 to 1, and see what color each combination can bring up.
4. Try mixing different greens. If you bring up two kinds of greens close to the target color, but they are not exactly the same, you can try to mix them together to bring up the ideal green. Since all greens contain two basic colors, blue and yellow, mixing these two greens should produce a new green. You can also mix green with different yellow or blue to change the hue more obviously.
5. Change the color value with black or white. After finding a suitable hue, you can use black or white pigments to change the color value without changing the hue. Adding white pigment can make the color lighter, while deepening the pigment will make the color darker. No matter what color you want, when you add white or black pigment, you must add it bit by bit, otherwise the green you bring out will be too light or too dark.
