The first time I came into contact with handmade clay was mainly because I wanted to prepare a birthday present for a friend last year.
That was my best friend in college. Because I like flowers, she often came back from outing and bought me a bouquet of flowers.
But unfortunately, she is allergic to pollen, so I can't send her flowers.
So when I was thinking about what to give as a gift, I thought, could I give her a bouquet of handmade flowers?
After searching a lot of tutorials and information on the Internet, I decided to choose handmade clay for kneading.
Wrapped into a bouquet, a single flower without coloring can look just like the real thing. The materials required for this tutorial are actually very simple. The only materials required are clay, color powder (any coloring tool is acceptable), wooden sticks or wires (for
pretend flower stems) and a bottle of clear nail polish (for extra color).
The main part is made of clay.
Specific steps 1. First, you need to pinch a drop-shaped stamen.
2. The pointed end here is the stamen, and the thicker one is connected with the wire. Then insert the stamen on the wire like this. 3. Next, pinch the petals.
It needs to be pinched petal by petal.
You need to first knead a small round ball into this shape: 4. When kneading, knead in the direction of the fan shape, just like the petals, narrow at the bottom and wide at the top. I like to use my hands to make it more natural and feel like fingerprints.
The texture of the petals; you can also use a wooden stick, pen, or other cylinder to roll it out like a rolling pin, and then knead it into something like this: Please click to enter. The petals can be thin or thick, depending on what you want the real flower to be.
It's a little cuter~ If it looks real, it should be thinner. If it's cute, it'll be thicker and look like meat.
Enter the picture description 5. Next, just wrap the petals around the stamens. Just make it tighter, like in the picture: 6. Wrap a few tighter pieces and then start wrapping the looser outer ones.
When partially gluing the petals on, leave a little space. Don't let the lower part of the petals stick tightly to the bud, but loosen it up a little to let it loosen.
Glue a few more pieces and it will look like a flower. 7. The size of the flower can be adjusted according to the shape you want.
Because the clay has not dried completely (it will no longer be sticky when it dries).
Then be careful not to stick the entire petal tightly when gluing it. The main thing is to stick the edge of the petal, and don't connect the middle to the main body, otherwise it will be unnatural.
If there is an extra small round end at the bottom of the flower when it is done, just pull it off.
8. The coloring part is very simple. Use a knife to cut out the color powder and make it into powder. Then use a brush to brush on the petals. The color can be adjusted by yourself. If you choose other pigments for coloring, just fill in the color.
Can.
Finally, apply transparent nail polish on the edges of the petals, pretending that they have the watery shine that comes with the flower, and it will look real.
When I gave the flowers to my friend, she was shocked!
In addition to the roses, I also used the remaining materials to knead the chick and the little prince: Cute Chick Abstract Little Prince. In the process of kneading the clay, I felt that this was not only a handicraft, but also a reflection of my beautiful feelings for my friend.
Blessings and lots of thoughts.
The most important thing is that its material is very cheap, and it does not cost hundreds of dollars like fresh-cut flowers to wrap into a large bunch and can be stored for a long time.
What a romantic thing it is to give your lover or friend a bouquet of roses that never fades!
In short, handmade clay is a very interesting activity. You can slowly knead it while watching TV, and you can make it very cute in your free time.
