Jingyang County is located in the central part of Shaanxi Province, north of the Jinghe River.
It borders Sanyuan and Gaoling Districts to the east, Weicheng District of Xianyang City to the south, faces Liquan County across the Jinghe River to the west, borders Beizhong Mountain and Saga Mountain to the north and is adjacent to Chunhua and Sanyuan Counties.
