Taipei (Taiwanese: t? Republic of China in Taiwan Province Province (1949 to present)

Taipei (a provincial city) (1949- 1967) lost the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and the national government retreated to Taiwan Province Province, and the central government moved to Taipei and became the capital of the Republic of China.
