Reference sample: Making a cake for the first time

The sky was overcast, with light rain falling from time to time. My mother was not at home, so she went to apply for a community health care card for me. I feel that my mother always loves me so much, and I want to do something for her. Suddenly an idea flashed into my mind: Why not make a delicious cake with fruit filling?

So, I rushed to the study room to find a book on making cakes. I looked left and right, but couldn't find it.

"Come out quickly, there is no time, mom will be back soon!" I muttered silently.

Time flies like an arrow, and a few minutes pass in the blink of an eye. "Woo..." Why not? I must make a cake for my mother today! Suddenly, I didn't know where the inspiration came from, and I could make the cake by myself, haha!

I collected various materials based on inspiration. Let’s start: add the eggs first and stir continuously. Then I poured in the flour, but my hands shook and I poured too much and it was too dry. I added more water and added too much quick-rising powder out of nervousness... Finally, I mixed the cake ingredients.

I carefully put my semi-finished product into the microwave and adjusted the time for 3 minutes. "Yeah! It finally worked." I took a bite first and almost vomited to death. I can only describe this cake as having all five flavors: sweet, sour, bitter, spicy.

Mom came back, I held out the cake and said, "Mom, thank you for your hard work!"

"My son has grown up and can make cakes for his mother!" My mother said happily. I watched her take big mouthfuls of food and eat it with relish. It seemed to have a different taste, and I felt sweet in my heart.

Although I was not very successful in making cakes for the first time, I feel that I can do something for my family and make them happy. I am very satisfied and it can also prove my hands-on ability.
