In May of the same year, Zhao Gang, the eight-year-old King of Yi, ascended the throne in Fuzhou with the help of Chen Yizhong and Lu Xiufu and changed his name to Jingyan.

The fire was soaring into the sky, the heat wave was overwhelming, and the officers and soldiers could not get close, and the palace was in chaos.

People watched the God of Fire going crazy and the palace was about to turn into ruins.

At the critical moment, thousands of soldiers and horses suddenly came from all directions to put out the fire. Then a dark cloud came from the sky, and a heavy rain fell in an instant. The fire was about to be put out, and the imperial palace was unharmed.

The heroes who put out the fire were King Guo Sheng and King Ye Zun of Nan'an.

King Guo Sheng, whose common name is Guo Zhongfu, was born in Guoshan, Shishan, Nan'an.

He grew up in a poor family and lost his father when he was 7 years old. He worked as a herdsman to serve his mother and was extremely filial to his parents.

When he was 16 years old, he passed away sitting cross-legged on the top of an ancient vine.

Later generations remembered his filial piety, built a temple to worship him as a god, and worshiped him with the rites of a general.

After the transformation, Zhongfu was so prominent that during the Shaoxing period of Emperor Gaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty (1131-1162), he was granted the title of "Marquis of Guangze of Weizhen" and the title of "Weizhen Temple" was given to him. In the first year of Emperor Lizong of the Song Dynasty (1259),

He was awarded the title "Mighty Heroic King Guangze".

That year, the imperial envoy came to Nan'an. He first went to Guoshan Temple to confer the title of King Guo, and then went to Kuilin Tzu Chi Palace to confer the title of King Ye Zun.

The two kings, Guo and Ye, were favored by the saints. In the autumn when foreign tribes invaded and the country was in trouble, they felt deeply that they had the unshirkable responsibility to protect the country and the territory, so King Guo Sheng brought three Dou of mung bean soldiers, and King Ye Zun brought three Dou of oil and sesame soldiers.

After successfully putting out the fire and rescuing the driver, the two kings returned home together.

On the way, King Guo Sheng said to King Ye Zun: "I have three buckets of mung bean soldiers. They are big and powerful. One can handle several of them. Your three buckets of oilseed soldiers are small and weak. Why don't we exchange them?"

Use your oil and sesame soldiers, and you use my mung bean soldiers, which will definitely help you gain unlimited prestige." At that time, King Ye Zun had just ascended to the throne and lacked experience in the world, so he couldn't resist King Guo Sheng's request and agreed to exchange soldiers and horses.

The mung bean soldiers arrived at Queen Ye Zun's house. After some training, they became brave and became an invincible magic soldier.

In the hands of King Guo Sheng, the combat effectiveness of the Youma soldiers was not weakened, but it was not strengthened either.

Compared with King Ye Zun's soldiers and horses, there is already a difference of one foot and nine feet.

Seeing this situation, King Guo Sheng proposed to exchange troops and horses.

King Ye Zun said: Brother Guo, we two kings are as close as brothers in the north. We are guarding the mountains in the north and south. We must drive away all evil spirits and ghosts and protect the peace of the local people. The key lies in whether we can work together.

We should look out for each other and not hurt our feelings over it.

King Guo Sheng thought that what King Ye Zun said was reasonable, so he stopped mentioning the exchange of troops and horses.

Later, King Guo Sheng encountered a serious evil disease in his territory, so he asked King Ye Zun to help exorcise the evil and correct the evil.

King Ye Zun also invited King Guo Sheng to come to his territory many times to help the people solve their problems and eliminate their sufferings.

The two kings supported each other and protected Li Shu.

Worlds, full of wonders.

Some people rob money, some people rob things, some people rob people, and some people rob Buddhas (i.e. statues of gods, the same below).

Descendants of the Ye surname in Nan'an Lingyun Mountain (i.e. Chaotian Mountain) go to the Kuiling Ancestral Hall to worship their ancestors on July 15th every year. After the grand ceremony is held, the Ye descendants of each village select young and strong contestants to participate in the Kuiling.

The activity of grabbing two statues of kings and gods in the ancestral hall is called "cowboys fighting for milk".

"People rob Buddha" and "cows compete for milk" have nothing to do with each other, but the two things are closely related. Why?

Takata Tzu Chi Palace and the Kui Lin Ye Family Ancestral Hall both worship the motherland. The statues of the ancestors and kings in the ancestral halls are called the Two Kings.

As the local patron saint, the ancestor king has boundless magical power to command people, protect imperial examinations, cure diseases and eliminate disasters, exorcise evil spirits, punish rebellious people, and even attract wealth and treasures, protect merchants, farmers and forests, protect and educate boys and girls, etc., so Lingyun

The mountain area is clean at four seasons and safe at eight seasons.

People paid homage to their ancestors, the Tzu Chi Palace was prosperous, and there was an endless stream of devotees.

This Tzu Chi Palace was rebuilt on the site of the Shang Palace. Back then, the Shang Palace was a place where villagers worshiped statues of kings and gods.
