The Qinghai Transportation and Travel Agency in Xining has buses to Bird Island every day. It charges 130 yuan per person (excluding meals and tickets). It departs at 7 a.m. and returns at 10 p.m.

Or, rent a Toyota van to go there (the rental fee is about 1,200 yuan).
