Sushi did not originate in Japan, but a kind of food from Southeast Asia: local people mixed fish and rice and soaked them in salt water to produce acetic acid fermentation, and it did not begin to spread to Japan until the Nara period (that is, the eighth century AD). The most familiar hand-grabbed sushi, or Edo sushi, actually appeared on the Japanese table very late.
Types of sushi
1, taijuan sushi
Taijuan sushi is a kind of rolled sushi with relatively thick diameter. Commonly used materials are fried eggs, mushrooms, dried scoops, cucumbers, fish floss and so on. For example, California roll and cherry blossom roll belong to Taijuan.
2. Thin roll sushi
As the name implies, it is relatively thin and usually contains only one ingredient, such as cucumber roll and iron fire roll.
3. Hand-rolled sushi
The main ingredient is cold rice seasoned with vinegar, plus fish, seafood, vegetables or eggs as ingredients, which are delicious and very popular among Japanese.
Step 4 roll sushi in it
Wrap the core ingredients with seaweed in turn, and then rice. Sprinkle sesame seeds, fish seeds and crab seeds on the outside. Like California roll, IDA roll.
5. Warship roll sushi
Rice is wrapped in seaweed into an oval shape with ingredients on it. Many fish roe sushi is warship sushi.
