When she was in Malaysia in 1991, Lin Meizhen liked light food and often ate Malaysian fried noodles. She also loved eating various tropical fruits, especially durian.

Apart from water and freshly squeezed juice, I don’t have any favorite drinks.

After coming to Taiwan, Lin Meizhen's principle of avoiding fried food made her fall in love with Taiwan's fresh fruits.

Over time, she gradually fell in love with cheap and delicious foods such as heated braised noodles, dry noodles, and meatball soup.

Because of her concern for food, Lin Meizhen began to learn how to run restaurants and bars.

In February 1996, Lin Meizhen and Sun Xing were rumored to be in a relationship, but Sun had not yet divorced his ex-wife Pan Yang.

In February 2001, the two registered their marriage in Hong Kong and gave birth to their only son, Sun Heng, two years later.

In October 2005, Sun Xing had an affair with Luo Lina and the marriage broke up. Although the marriage was not officially signed, the separation was equivalent to a divorce.

Sun Xing gave up all his properties in Taiwan and custody of his 4-year-old son.

After the French restaurant closed down, the Little Penang Tea Restaurant in Anhe Road closed its stalls on February 24, 2008, and the original 10 restaurants became 5.

In April 2011, Sun Xing was arrested for taking drugs, and Luo Lina also fell into trouble.
