Where does Linwu Duck come from? Introduction of linwu duck and?
Linwu Duck, one of the eight famous ducks in China, is a national geographical indication protection product. It is mainly produced in Wushui River Basin, Linwu County, one of the sources of the Pearl River. It has been a royal tribute for thousands of years and enjoys a high reputation in southern Hunan and northern Guangdong. Compared with other ducks, Linwu ducks grow among farmland, streams, ponds and reservoirs, and eat shrimp and play in Shan Ye, so their meat quality is extremely delicate and delicious. Linwu ducks have a long growth cycle, weighing only two and a half pounds in 70 to 80 days, while other vegetable ducks and fast-growing ducks can grow to four or five pounds in 30 to 40 days. The growth period is twice that of other duck breeds, but the weight is only half that of other duck breeds.

Since ancient times, people have been breeding Linwu ducks in the wild in Shunfeng Mountain Stream and Wushui Valley at the source of the Pearl River. This is a kind of local traditional duck "raised in boudoir". From 65438 to 0999, driven by Shunhua Duck Industry Company, China duck breeding and processing base was built in Linwu County. In three years, the project team invested a total of 6,365,438 yuan to implement the three unified services of "unified seedling supply, unified epidemic prevention and unified feed" for Linwu duck breeding, completed the purification and rejuvenation of Linwu duck varieties and the popularization of standardized breeding technology of Linwu duck, and carried out the research and development of biosafety control technology for Linwu duck breeding production, as well as the deep processing of Linwu duck products and comprehensive utilization of by-products. By 2009, the county had built 43 breeding duck farms in Linwu, expanded breeding duck farms 1 farm, and trained more than 8,000 farmers. The survival rate of Linwu duck breeding increased from 87% in 2006 to more than 9 1%, which increased farmers' income by more than 4 million yuan from the technical level. There are 3,260 farmers engaged in linwu duck breeding, with an average annual income of 48,000 yuan.
