In mid-July, the family got up early and drove more than 600 kilometers to Erdaobaihe, and arrived safely at noon. As soon as I entered the town, I felt a little bored at first. I remember checking the local temperature before I came. At that time, the temperature was about 20 degrees, and I thought it would be cool. As a result, it was 30 degrees outside the car, only a few degrees lower than at home, which was a bit disappointing. Driving in a small town, I feel a little deserted, and I can't see crowds of tourists or passing cars. Fortunately, this town is well built, with clean and tidy streets, fast food and many hotels. It is a standard tourist city.
After driving around the street several times, I was surprised to find that there were no traffic lights and many electronic monitoring devices. Chatting with local people, they said that these monitoring are very good, and the speed limit and courtesy of pedestrians are not for fun. At this time, I regretted it. I don't know if I broke the rules just now and whether I will get a ticket. By the way, speaking of roads, it may be because there are not many tourists this year. There is no boundary between Erdaobaihe and Beishan Gate of Changbai Mountain. Under normal circumstances, private cars are not allowed to drive to Beishanmen after July 1 every year. Visitors can only take the bus from the tourist distribution center in the town to the north slope of Changbai Mountain, and they can enter the north slope of Changbai Mountain this year.
? After eating fast food in the town at noon, I decided to drive to the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, and the road was unrestricted. Maybe when there are few good people, you can climb the mountain to see Tianchi in the afternoon without waiting in line. The town is more than 30 kilometers away from the north gate of Changbai Mountain, with high mountains and dense forests along the way and excellent air. I just walked and found that there are very few cars in the same industry. Basically, we run by ourselves. After arriving, I realized that people generally don't go hiking in the afternoon because the time is too short to cover all the scenic spots. At this time, the weather in the mountains is really different from that in the town. The sky was clear when I left town, but it was overcast here.
When driving back to town, I stopped at the famous scenic spot Meirensong Park and stayed there for a while. Meirensong Park is quiet and beautiful, with exquisite sculptures everywhere on the lawn and many resolute and feminine Meirensong. Walking around the tree and across the aisle, a lake and clear water appeared, and many ducklings swam on the water, chasing tourists' food at this time. All this in front of us, leisurely people, lush pines and cypresses, quiet lakes and playful ducks, can really be described as "a lake with clear water and a poem, half in prosperity and half in tranquility", which can make people easily abandon the glitz of foreign things and return to peace of mind.
Unconsciously, it was getting dark. I picked up my cell phone and searched for food. I find everyone's comments here are very good. I found a Korean restaurant and ordered a special cold noodle when I was eating. The boss also recommended Changbai specialty mushroom with pig mouth. This dish is dark when it is served. Her mother looked at it and said, "This thing won't get its name because it looks like a pig's mouth, will it?" I tasted it and recommended it to her. Then I checked it again and found that this mushroom is indeed a specialty of Changbai, and it is a bit expensive, but to my surprise, it is poisonous. Some people's mouths will swell like pigs after eating them, so they get the name "pig-billed mushroom"!
After reading the introduction, I can't help putting down my chopsticks. Keep looking. It turns out that this mushroom is harmless as long as it is treated with alkaline water. I think it's safe to eat. If my mouth is swollen, I'll wear a mask. In a word, no one knows anyone in this place. Speaking of cold noodles, you must order every Korean restaurant. This thing looks simple, but it is not easy to make it well, and it is difficult to make juice, so the taste of each store will be different. But the taste here is just right, the noodles are strong, the soup is sweet and sour, cold and delicious, with a faint fragrance, which is simply delicious. When I finished eating, I saw the street lights on outside. I remember I saw many covered light nets in the street. I think the night scene is beautiful.
It was 30 degrees in the town during the day, but now it's down to 10 degrees, and the air is much cooler. Walking in the street, the surrounding lights lit up and the scenery suddenly became dreamy. Seeing the Erdaobai River flowing from Changbai Mountain passing through the city, it slowly flows into the distance, and the lights on the river bank are blurred and charming. Walking under this gorgeous light is like crossing into another world. Disappointment and fatigue during the day have long since vanished, leaving only beautiful scenery everywhere. Come to think of it, isn't this beautiful scenery what everyone yearns for? At this time, in the small town, the river flows nearby, the lights are dim in the distance, and people's thoughts are flying like paper cranes.
Walking, the evening is getting deeper and the night is as cold as water. In order not to affect getting up early tomorrow to see Tianchi, I decided to go back to the hotel to rest. The night in town is very quiet. There was light rain in the first half of the night, and the rain outside the window made people fall asleep. When you get up early, the weather is sunny. The hotel owner said, "It will fog when it rains in the mountains, so it is easy to see Tianchi." I'm a little disappointed to hear him say that. Looking up at the sky, there are white clouds in the distant mountains. Yes, if I knew that the climate in the mountains was so changeable, Tianchi would hide from time to time, which is rare. However, it is precisely because of this that more tourists are attracted to gamble their luck, just to witness the deep blue in the fairy tale world.
As the first important town at the foot of Changbai Mountain, Erdaobaihe Town is really good. It has many special foods, as well as slim evergreen pine and cypress; It has a slowly flowing white river and a starry night view of the city; It has a profound historical background and treasures that can be seen everywhere. These all add a lot of color to it. Maybe when we come again next time, we can stay a little longer, slow down, relax and slowly experience the lazy and quiet life hidden in the town.
