Taniguchi was renamed Yezhai, which was named after Liu Yuan's resistance to Yuan in the late Song Dynasty. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, most of the Jiangbei area fell into the hands of Yuan and Meng. According to historical records, Liu Yuan was born in Meicheng, a buried hill. In the 12th year of Yuan Dynasty (1275), the Yuan and Mongolian troops attacked Anqing, and the magistrate Fan Wenhu surrendered, which caused great resentment among the military and civilians. In the 14th year of Zhiyuan (1277), Liu Yuan, who was both wise and brave, proposed to set up an army and set up a camp in Tianzhu Mountain. From Taniguchi to Xiguan, there was a battalion in five miles and a fort in ten miles, and there were many exchanges between military forces and horses. He contacted Song to appease Shi Dexing and others, defeated Yuan soldiers repeatedly, and protected more than 1, people from being ravaged. Later, because of the traitor's betrayal, the stronghold was breached, and Liu Yuan was bloodied on the battlefield. Zhu Zhanji, the Emperor Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty, made him the king of protecting the land in order to show Liu Yuan's meritorious service in defending the country, and called the place where he built his village and started his army "Yeren Village". In addition, on the word-of-mouth of the masses, it is said that in ancient times, there were often savage haunts here, hurting people and harming livestock. The county magistrate lured the savage into the cave with strong liquor and mutually assured destruction, so it was called "Yeren Village". This is just a folk legend.
