Shengfeng Ancient Temple is located in the west of the ruins of the old city of Li Xi (the local name is Banshantou). There is a Millennium banyan tree in the temple. According to botanists' analysis, this banyan tree has a history of more than 65,438+0,500 years and is deeply loved by people in our town. The local people still decorate Guanyin Bodhisattva under the banyan tree to offer sacrifices, praying for good weather, peace of the country and the people, and constant incense. Comprehensive analysis shows that the temple belongs to Buddhism and its history is about 1400 years. It was rebuilt in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty, and was destroyed many times in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period and Cultural Revolution period. At present, the ancient temple buildings such as Daxiong Hall, Guanyin Hall, Tibetan Scripture Building and 800 Luohan Hall have been restored and expanded. Feilaixia Rafting Scenic Area is located in Huda Village, Li Xi Town, adjacent to Feilaixia Scenic Area, 90km south of Guangzhou and 45km north of Yingcheng, which is connected with Yishui of Beijiang River, Feixiaxia Ancient Cave, Feilaixia Dam and Baojing Palace. Feilaixia drifting scenic spot started construction in June 2006, and it was built according to 4A standard. It was completed in August 2002 and received tourists. The whole drifting journey was about 5 kilometers. It is a good place for rafting, waterfall watching and water playing. It is also one of the top ten brands of "Hometown of Drifting in China" and a destination for sightseeing.
