Fujiang River originates from the fork on the northeast slope of Xuebaoding (Tibetan: Harshaw Winter, meaning Oriental Conch Mountain), the main peak of Minshan Mountain in Songpan County, Sichuan Province. According to the Qing Dynasty's "Shu Shui Kao", "Fu Shui Yuan comes from Songpanwei (now Songpan County) wind tunnel to promote Longquan"; "Xinglong Spring is 6 miles in Weidong, which comes from the top of Huanglong Temple in Xuelanshan Wind Tunnel"; "The mountain is flat and there is Longtan on it." Xuelan Mountain is commonly known as Baoding Mountain, or Xuebaoding. The source of Fujiang River is closely related to dragons. Under Xuebaoding, there are Tibetan Longshan and Huanglong Temple, and Longan Town, Pingwu County, which was called Longan House in ancient times. There are many places with dragons in Songpan and Pingwu: Longxi, Longchi, Feng Long, Longyan, Longfeng, Longzhi, Longgui Temple and Longwangbao.

Fujiang River descended from the southeast of Huanglong Temple (Weifang Wind Tunnel) in Songpan County, flowing through Huanglong Township, Shijiabao Township and Xiaohe Township, and accepted many streams, leaving Huanglong and entering the boundary of Pingwu County.

In Pingwu County, it passes through Crystal Town, Kuoda Township, Long 'an Town (the residence of Pingwu County Government), and Tielongbao, about 1 kilometers north of Pingwu County, accepts the first tributary Huoxi River from the left bank, passes through Gucheng Town, Bazi Township, Nanba Town, turns to the south, reaches Xiangyan Town, rushes through Jiangyou Pass, a military stronghold, and enters jiangyou city.

from jiangyou city, Fujiang river begins to meander at the northern foot of Sichuan basin, with a wide river surface and flows to the southeast of the basin. Fujiang River is divided into two branches when it flows through beicheng and Wudu Town to Zhongba Town (the residence of the municipal government), and merged into one after passing through Zhongba Town (Taiping Town on the right and Sanhe Town on the left). After flowing through Jiangyou County, an important town in northern Sichuan, it is about 5 kilometers to Zhangming Town, and the Pingtong River, a tributary of the left bank, comes from the north and flows into Fujiang River. Qinglian town (Li Bai's hometown), Tongkou River (Yujiang River) (the river passes through qinglian town). The interval goes southbound along the boundary of qinglian town, Longfeng Town and Jiuling Town, and goes out of Jiangyou Oil Field.

Fujiang River continued to descend and entered Mianyang Plain, the largest alluvial plain in the basin. It flows through Longmen Town in Fucheng District (formerly Fu County) in the north of Mianyang City, shima town in Youxian District and Qingyi Town in Fucheng District (formerly Fu County) and enters Mianyang City. Furong Creek flows into Youxian Town in Youxian District in the east of the city from the left bank, Anchang River comes from the west and flows into Fujiang River in the southeast of Mianyang City. The Fujiang River leaves Mianyang city in the south, passes through Tangxun Town and Fenggu Town in Fucheng city, and leaves Mianyang. Mianyang plain covers an area of more than 17 square kilometers, with fertile soil and rich products. Mianyang, a major town in northern Sichuan, is located on the northwest edge of the plain.

after passing through Mianyang city, Fujiang enters Santai county of Mianyang city, turns to the southeast, passes through Luxi town, huayuan town town, Liuying town, Lingxing town, Xinde town, Tongchuan town, the county seat, and accepts Kaijiang, a tributary on the right bank, at the foot of Dongta Mountain in Tongchuan town. After Fujiang accepted Kaijiang, it passed through Santai County and entered Shehong County.

Shehong County, Suining City, Sichuan Province, passes through Xiangshan Town, Jinhua Town and Guangxing Town, at the foot of the tomb of Chen Ziang, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, and the Zitong River, a tributary on the left bank, meets again. Pass Taihe Town, Dayu Town, Quhe Township, Qingdi Township, Tuopai Town (formerly Yangshu Town), and go out to Shehong County.

the Fujiang river flows south, crossing the boundary between Pengxi county and Daying county in Suining city, at Qiaokou town in Daying county, where the right bank tributary meets the Fujiang river. Qiaokou is the widest valley on the main stream of Fujiang River, and it is also the junction of Shehong and Suining counties. It enters chuanshan district, Suining City, passes through Guihua Town, Tangjia Township, Suining City, Renli Town, Laochi Township and Heye Township, Pengxi County, and there is a boundary river between Suining City and Chongqing City, and enters Chongqing City in the west of Yuxi Town, Tongnan County.

The south flows through Yuxi Town, Anxing Township and Guilin Town (guilin town) in Tongnan County of Chongqing, Zitong Street in the county, Shanghe Town and Biekou Town, Taihe Town and Xiaohe Township in Hechuan District, becoming the boundary river between Hechuan District and Tongliang District, passing through Gaolou Town in Tongliang District, and joining Qiongjiang River, a tributary on the right bank. It flows eastward, passing through Tongxi Town, Weituo Town and Zaojiao Town in Hechuan District, the gateway of northern Sichuan, and the last tributary Xiao Anxi flows into Fujiang River from the right bank. After Fujiang accepted Xiao Anxi, it ended the 67-kilometer process under the fishing city in the south of Hechuan City. Into the Jialing River from the northeast of Hechuan City.
