cathedral
It was built in 1498. This church is not very big, but it is famous all over the world, because it contains the Christian holy thing "The Shroud of Jesus".
The shroud of Jesus is a piece of linen. Surprisingly, there is a full-length portrait of Jesus on the cloth. Although the Vatican has never declared the shroud credible, it is still collected and respected as a special object of Christianity. It was the French who first discovered this kind of cloth. The shroud was first made public around 1356, which immediately shocked the whole Christian world, because the characters on the shroud not only looked like the legendary Christ, but also had blood. Later, under the research of religious scholars, it was determined that this cloth was used to wrap Jesus' body after he died on the cross, so he left the figure of Jesus. Madema Palace
It is based on medieval castles. The two sides of the building are in sharp contrast with the old and new styles. The castle style of brown masonry structure on the back is still preserved, while the front facing the castle square has been decorated with white baroque style. During the period of 1848- 1864, it was the parliament building of Italy. Today, it is the Museum of Antika Art Citizens.
Plaza San Carlo
Its baroque architecture is located in the square of San Carlo in the middle of Rome street, which has won a good name for this square: "Turin Studio". Santacristina Church and San Carlo Church are located at the southern end of the square. Although the facade of Santacristina Church shows Baroque style, at the beginning of18th century, Iuvara designed a decorative sculpture for it at the top. In fact, both churches were built in 1930s of17th century. In the center of the square stands a statue of Emmanuel Filiberto riding a horse. palace
It is located opposite the magnificent Prebisset Square. It was built by architect Minnich Feng Tana in 1600 and rebuilt many times. It became the palace of Bourbon dynasty in18th century. Eight marble statues of the most important king in Naples were placed on eight giant walls in front of the palace, full of the charm of baroque architecture. The royal garden behind it was built in the18th century, with a huge double staircase leading to the royal residence. Since 1925, this palace has become the national library. In addition to the Little Palace Theatre and the National Library, it also shows the living rooms, living rooms and bedrooms of the royal families of past dynasties, as well as porcelain, furniture, paintings and artworks from 18 to 19 centuries. These collections include the Farnese collection brought by Charles of Bourbon, at least 2,000 papyrus excavated in Herculaneum and a tattered Coptic Bible from the 5th century.
