I first got to know Taihefang Guqin Hall in January 2018, and I have been studying for a year now. I will review what I have learned and felt in this article, and I wish that next year I will learn more about Guqin and use it. I don’t remember when I developed a good impression of the guqin, and I don’t know when the guqin came into my heart. The impression was two or three years ago. Maybe I accidentally heard the song "Three Plum Blossoms" played on the guqin on the Internet and couldn't put it down anymore. Later, I accidentally listened to the ethereal and distant guqin music many times. Every time I heard the strings of the guqin, I felt The sweet and soothing feeling lingered throughout my body, and I fell in love with the temperament conveyed by the guqin more and more - tranquility, calmness, clarity, a balance of strength and softness. Later, my mobile phone music software was also occupied by guqin music. During the rare alone time, I also let the guqin music fill the loop. Play. Finally, one day in 2017, I recorded my desire to "learn guqin" as a dream in my diary. What I wrote at that time was "I hope to have the opportunity to learn guqin and own a guqin." This was the seed of learning guqin. Planted in my heart.

Sister Gillian is the matchmaker between me and Taihefang. On January 6, 2018, it was her matchmaking that led me to Taihefang. At that time, she took me to attend the event between Senior Sister and Zhang Jianhua. In the twenty-four solar terms activity organized by the teacher, everyone drank tea, chatted and ate dumplings together. After the activity, Teacher Zhang played the guqin and read Teacher Kong’s personal profile. Although I had never met him, I could feel the teacher’s elegant temperament and awe-inspiring aura in his photos. At that time, I thought if I could study with such a teacher. Will go astray.

I still had to learn even if I had a family to take care of, so in almost every class that followed, my daughter always appeared with me in Taihefang. When I was studying, she would draw pictures, make trouble around me, or sleep on the bench. She would often disturb me in class. Fortunately, the teacher was more understanding and tolerant. I tried my best to control my attention and not be disturbed by my daughter.

In the first three months, I was enthusiastic about learning Guqin. I was very happy and interested in learning it. Each etude was like meeting an old friend in a foreign country. Everything went smoothly. Guqin performed well. It’s so friendly, you don’t need to understand complicated and boring music theory, and it doesn’t matter whether your hands are good or not, you can master the skills and rules to play well. This was the etude stage, and the teacher praised me for learning quickly. It is undeniable that the teacher’s encouragement and recognition also became one of the motivations for me to continue learning in the face of difficulties. For me, who had never learned a musical instrument since I was a child, I never expected that the first musical instrument that I could learn well in my life would be the oldest musical instrument in China, the guqin. A sense of sanctity and superiority caused by narcissism. I am confident in learning the guqin, and my heart is moving forward to record some formal guqin music as soon as possible so that I can continue to support the sense of sacredness.

Of course, the mood now is very different from the beginning. The narcissism has been driven away. What is more, I hope that I can settle down and communicate with my guqin attentively. What is sacred or not, let alone any sense of superiority. , all caused by inner demons. Gradually, I realized that the process of learning piano is one of the ways to help me cultivate my mind.

Difficulties and bottlenecks

Starting from "A Laugh in the Sea", I started to learn music formally. The learning process of the first formal song is always unforgettable. When the teacher said that I can learn it When I played this song, I felt a sense of excitement and accomplishment. As the practice progressed, the novelty wore off. Repeated practice honed my patience. I endured the boring practice and experienced the tension and nervousness caused by poor psychological quality when playing in class four times a month. My fingers tremble every time I play the piano. This is a process of cultivating the heart, cultivating a unified heart and a normal heart. In the subsequent songs, I will encounter various similar obstacles, in addition to the pain in my fingers, the torture in my heart, and some external interference, such as being too busy and lack of practice time. Each time, we continue to move forward through mutual discussion and encouragement in the group. Therefore, if you can find like-minded people to study with, you will go further.

My first guqin teacher was Mr. Zhang Jianhua, a great teacher in Taihefang. I was fortunate enough to learn guqin from him for seven months. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to learn from him again later, he brought great benefits to me. Our solid foundation and careful guidance are all treasured in my heart during that period of study.

Flowers need green leaves to match. Handsome boy Xiaobo is a delicate green leaf in our group. He is our study committee member because he has the fastest learning speed. He is our pioneer and always runs at the forefront. Earlier, he also informed us of the ups and downs ahead. He practiced the longest, worked hardest, and loved to think and ask questions. We gathered in Taihefang because of the same hobbies. The ups and downs of the road to piano learning include difficulty, pain, retreat, patience, perseverance, encouragement, companionship, and fun. In the artistic conception of green bamboo Yiyi, everyone is cultivating a stable and elegant temperament through practicing Guqin. This is also the feeling of Guqin in everyone in our group. After looking at the whole poem, I feel that the choice of "Green Bamboo Yiyi" expresses the meaning most directly and briefly. So I named it as the name of my guqin class study group.

So far, there are classmates in our group that I have never met before, but why should we meet before, and why should we meet again if we meet again. The green bamboos and the melodious sound of the piano have brought everyone together.

I recently played "Fa Tan" and I got stuck in this piece. I couldn't get in or out, so I stayed away from my piano for a long time...but I remembered Teacher Kong's careful teachings. I feel that I can't be disloyal to my teachers: I can't just choose kitsch modern music scores, which sound good but are very vulgar, such as Daughter's Love, Beauty's Tribulation, etc., but I also need to learn to play "ancient music that pleases the heart". "Fa Tan" is such a song. Perhaps because my pursuit is still too superficial and I don’t have a deep understanding, the teacher used the example of water crossing a chasm in class and inspired me that water must fill the chasm before it can cross it.
