Can time really heal everything?
People often say: "Time is the best medicine, it can cure all regrets." I once thought that later, I experienced some things, and as I grew older and more experienced, I suddenly discovered that some things are right for me.
A person's harm is irreversible.
No matter how long time has passed, five years or ten years, the hurt comes from my heart, and it can still make me wake up from my dreams over and over again.
Time may dilute it, but it is not a cure.
It cannot heal the wounds of the soul. The shallow ones will be forgotten by time; the deep ones are like scars on the heart. Even if they no longer bleed, they will leave permanent scars and become a part of your life.
It's just that most of the time, this scar will not occur.
1. Time cannot heal everything, but it slowly dilutes over time, forgetting the past pain. Time has witnessed all our things, no matter good or bad; as it goes by, those will eventually become things of the past.
.
It gives you a long time to forget about the pain, so long that you feel like it never happened.
So sometimes having a bad memory seems to be a good thing.
But when a familiar scene or a casual word touches the hidden wounds in our hearts again, we will still care and feel sad.
Time helps you forget, but thoughts help you remember. I remember when I was a child, I was bitten by a dog when I went to someone's house. Although I felt nothing but pain at the time.
However, after that, I became particularly afraid of dogs. If I met a dog on the road, I would immediately turn around and walk away. I would also stay away from other people’s dogs on a leash. Friends who have dogs at home,
I rarely have guests; even a small pet dog can scare me to tears.
You see, they say time heals everything, but now, twenty years later, I still can’t get over the experience of being bitten when I see a dog, and it even deepens my fear subconsciously.
I don’t know if my situation can be called post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD for short). Post-traumatic stress disorder refers to the sequelae of a disordered psychological state after a person encounters or resists major trauma and stress.
Just like a woman or man who has experienced emotional trauma, even if they successfully leave that person, it is still difficult to regain trust in others and establish a new intimate relationship.
This is because we really want to forget, but our brains and memories never forget. Even after a long time, some signals will still disrupt our normal life.
Time has never healed everything, but time has given us a chance to breathe and give us the opportunity to slowly heal the pain.
It’s not like it’s gone, it’s just gone to a deeper place in life.
In life, we often have some emotions.
When everyone is chatting and talking about their ex, one friend will make all kinds of complaints and can't stop at all, and will also say: "It's all in the past, I don't care anymore."
Do you really not care?
As time goes by, we become more likely to get angry, and we can't stand all kinds of people and things, and sometimes we even become so extreme that we become narrow-minded.
When you become an increasingly "emotional" person, even you will despise yourself. How did I become like this?
Because not only does time not heal everything, it even accumulates and becomes bigger and bigger.
When we no longer rely on the belief that "time can heal everything" and face your own emotions, you will seriously adjust yourself and give yourself the courage to face it, and then you will learn how to let go of the pain and let it disappear from your life.
Get away completely.
2. Time heals those who are willing to cross over. It is said that time can heal everything, but who can understand that time can only heal those who are willing to be healed.
My friend Xiao Sui told me that she was going back to Changsha to start a new life.
