First of all, thank you my friend for the invitation. I am Senior Yan from Wudaokou.
I have a daughter, and there are many high-level people around me who have their own thoughts and understandings about education. However, I don’t think it’s particularly easy to say about Li Xiang’s educational concepts for raising his daughter.
Let me first tell you why I am not easy to comment.
First of all, the economic conditions of Li Xiang and I are very different. We cannot use my economic conditions to speculate on her economic conditions and consumption level.
For example, for me, spending tens of thousands of yuan on a dress or a handbag for my child is an extremely luxurious act. It is definitely not appropriate and I would not do it.
But for Li Xiang, if everything she usually has is like this, then maybe it's normal.
Many people will say that Li Xiang is too extravagant, and many rich people are not like this.
For example, Silicon Valley tycoon Zuckerberg wears a gray T-shirt all year round, and everyone thinks he is very simple. In fact, this shirt is from an Italian luxury brand, and each piece costs about 400 US dollars, or about 2,600 yuan.
Secondly, I don’t understand the overall situation of Li Xiang raising his daughter.
What we see is what the media or Li Xiang himself presents to us, the melon-eating masses.
For example, Zuckerberg, who I just talked about, is very frugal even if he wears a $400 T-shirt. The media often reports that he drives a small Toyota car all year round and eats with his wife on the street for $30.
of McDonald's.
But we rarely see that Zuckerberg spent $100 million to build a house for a clean environment; we also rarely see that Zuckerberg spends tens of millions of dollars on bodyguards every year.
Therefore, when it comes to evaluating Li Xiang, I think we should be more careful. Maybe the media is constantly creating the image that Li Xiang spent money to bury her and raised her daughter too extravagantly.
My understanding of Li Xiang’s daughter Wang Shiling is still limited to my impression when she participated in "Where Are We Going, Dad" when she was four years old.
She is not squeamish, polite, and considerate, which leaves a deep impression on people.
From the perspective of Wang Shiling at that time, I think education was quite successful.
I think education in childhood is very important. If there are no problems when you are young, it is unlikely that you will be crooked again when you grow up.
Of course, I can’t guarantee whether the reality show will have deliberate results from the TV station.
The above is about the situation of Wang Shiling and Li Xiang's family.
For ordinary people, I think it is rich.
First, it is spiritual enrichment.
The child has no feeling for material things at first. As long as the cost of food and clothing is not much different from that of other children, he will not care.
But spiritual love, trust, support and understanding of children are the real enrichment and the source of strength for their lifelong growth.
Second, don’t be rich beyond your own capacity.
It’s hard to say about Li Xiang’s family. There are many middle-class people around me, and many people also believe in raising children richly.
This is especially true for some middle-class families with low levels of education. Their children go abroad twice a year, their tutors are of the highest level within their parents' budget, and their food and clothing are all brand-name.
I have seen a child eating all imported fruits, including Japanese apples and Japanese grapes.
That's good, but it's too expensive. I can't bear to buy it and eat it.
The child's family is not as wealthy as Li Xiang's family, they are just a working class family.
I think this kind of enrichment is inappropriate.
Third, no matter how rich you are, you still need to know the suffering in the world.
People have ups and downs, and society also has ups and downs.
Looking over the past hundred years, life has had too many ups and downs.
Scarlett Scarlett and Melanie in "Gone with the Wind" are both upper-class women who have never done much work. However, after their homes are destroyed, they must recognize the reality and work on their own.
Now that our society is developing smoothly and affluently, many risk educations are lacking. I think this should also be strengthened.
What do you think?
Li Xiang, the former host of Hunan Satellite TV's "Happy Camp", moved to Shenzhen Satellite TV in January 2013 and served as the deputy director of Shenzhen Satellite TV; in 2016, he served as the president of Qihoo 360, in charge of film, television and entertainment-related content; at the same time, he also served as Beijing Happy
Part-time chairman and general manager of Star Culture Media Co., Ltd.
Judging from this resume, Li Xiang can be considered a boss-level person.
Li Xiang's daughter Wang Shiling is well-known to the audience for filming "Where Are We Going, Dad" with her father. Previously, Li Xiang was criticized for excessively "rich" her daughter. Wang Shiling has been wearing clothes and handbags worth ten thousand yuan since she was a child.
Li Xiang said in public that the cost of training Wang Shiling in one year would be enough to buy a villa.
