Shanghai Public Security Museum, the first public security museum in China, has seven floors, with a height of 39.9 meters and a total area of 8151 square meters. There are ten branches in the museum, such as preface, public security history, criminal investigation, public security, transportation, prison, fire protection, equipment, heroic and heroic exchanges and police affairs. This paper records the historical evolution of the police organization in Shanghai since it was established in 1854, and its achievements in cracking down on crime, ensuring various constructions and maintaining social stability.
