Heze is the capital of peony.

Heze, formerly known as Cao Zhou, is located in the southwest of Shandong province, at the junction of four provinces: Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui. Heze has a long history and profound cultural heritage, with the largest peony garden in the world.
