Guan Yu, whose word is Yun Chang, was a good lover in Hedong. In his early days, Guan Yu followed Liu Bei around the country. He was captured alive by Cao Cao and killed Yuan Shao's general Yan Liang in Bai Mapo. Together with his sworn brother Zhang Fei, Guan Yu was called an enemy of ten thousand people. After Liu Bei called Hanzhong King, Guan Yu led an army to surround Xiangfan, and Cao Cao sent Yu Ban to reinforce it. Guan Yu captured Yu Ban and killed Pound, which was a great shock to China. Cao Cao once wanted to move the capital to avoid its sharpness. Later, Cao Cao sent Xu Huang to reinforce, and the Dongwu general Lv Meng attacked Jingzhou again. Guan Yu was attacked between Scylla and Charybdis and was defeated and killed. During Liu Chan's period, Guan Yu was regarded as a strong and miaohou. After Guan Yu's death, he was gradually deified and honored as "Guan Gong" by the people, also known as the bearded male. Many imperial courts in past dynasties praised and sealed them, and worshipped them as "martial saints."

Zhang Fei, whose word is Yide, is from Zhuojun County, Youzhou. He followed Liu Bei with Guan Yu in his early days. Liu Bei defeated Changbanpo, and Zhang Fei rode only twenty times. According to the water, the bridge was broken, and no one dared to approach Cao Jun. When Zhuge Liang and Zhao Yun swept through Xichuan, Yan Yan was released in Jiangzhou. During the war in Hanzhong, Zhang He was defeated in Dangqu, which made great contributions to Shu Han. The official was a general riding a car, a captain leading a company, and he was appointed Hou of Xixiang. Later, he was assassinated by Fan Jiang and Zhang Da. In Liu Chan's time, he was called "Huan Hou".

Ma Chao, born in Maoling, Fufeng, is a descendant of Ma Yuan, the general of Han Fubo. In the early days, he fought in Zhong You under Cao Cao. After his father Marten entered Beijing as an official, Ma Chao stayed in Guanzhong and took charge of Marten's department. When Cao Cao was in charge of the army in Guanzhong, Ma Chao joined forces with Guanzhong warlords Han Sui and Yang Qiu to resist Cao Cao and fought against him in Weishui. Cao Cao once lamented: "If the horse doesn't die, I have no place to be buried." When Liu Bei attacked Yizhou, he defected and participated in surrounding Chengdu. Zhangwu died of illness in the second year (222), at the age of 47, and was entrusted to his younger brother Ma Dai. During Liu Chan's period, he pursued posthumous death as "Wei Hou".

Huang zhong, born in Nanyang, was originally a corps commander under Liu Biao, and later surrendered to Liu Bei to fight in Sichuan with him. During the war in Hanzhong, Huang Zhong killed Xia Houyuan, a famous Cao Wei dynasty, in Dingjunshan. He died in the 25th year of Jian 'an (22). In Liu Chan's time, he was regarded as "just waiting".

Zhao Yun, with the word Zilong, was born in Changshan. He was the first general to follow Liu Bei after Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. He followed Gongsun Zan in the early days and later joined Liu Bei who was still attached to Yuan Shao in Yecheng. Liu Chan, the son of Liu Bei, was rescued twice, and he was called "Savior Riding Alone". When Cao Jun was defeated in the Hanshui War, Liu Bei called him "a brave man" and the soldiers in the army called him "General Hu Wei". In the Shu-Han regime, Zhao Yun was the only veteran of the two dynasties among the five generals. He died in the seventh year of Jianxing (229), and was posthumously named "Shunping Hou" in Liu Chan era.
