Chengdu sugar painting is a unique Han traditional handicraft that integrates folk arts and crafts and food. It is mainly spread in Chengdu, Sichuan Province and surrounding areas. Sichuan folk used to call it sugar cake, sugar cake, sugar lamp shadow, etc. Painting with melted sugar juice was widely popular in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province and surrounding cities and villages in Bashu. Listed in the second batch of China's national intangible cultural heritage list.
