Thoughts on editing video

I went to Shunde last week to shoot a video, and I didn't start editing until today.

when editing, I feel the pain.

video editing is a creative process.

First, make clear your theme.

The theme is Shunde food tour.

second, story point selection

the story point is not much, but wonderful.

After a preliminary review, the story is told in positive narrative:

1. Set out;

2. Good food;

3. dessert shop;

4. Fish raw shop;

5. Shunfeng Mountain;

6. Return to high-speed railway station;

It depends on the amount of material and whether the theme can be expressed.

Because I didn't explore the ground and know the specific food route in advance, the shots were all taken randomly by inspiration. Such things as going to Internet cafes to play the road to survival, playing the secret room to escape, singing K and drinking morning tea are abandoned because of insufficient material or weak relevance to the theme.

At the same time, considering the video duration, some videos that were thought to be useful at that time and materials that were actually not used in editing were also chosen to be discarded.

making products is also such a process, constantly cutting demand and cutting functions.

Third, how to tell a story

There are two editing methods

1. Restore the scene method, and directly describe a thing with a long shot. The background music uses the original sound. But we didn't record the original sound well this time.

2. Multi-shot montage technique to describe the event. Multi-shot description is enough, and the instant long control is neither long nor short, so don't procrastinate. This can select background music.

the technique of going through the motions

1. Use the description method of white characters on the blackboard

2. Use the scene similarity method to move to the next scene, for example, all the scenes are round and all the scenes are drinking tea.

3, through the lens, use from left to right, the next lens is also in the same direction, so that people's perspective will not feel particularly abrupt because of the picture shift.
