Chengjiang lotus roots, more than 20 kinds of fish from Fuxian Lake, and farmers’ stewed potato rice are all local specialty foods.
Especially worth mentioning is the Kanglang fish. Fishermen like to put the fresh Kanglang fish into a copper pot filled with spring water to cook. The fish is cooked as the water temperature rises.
After ten or twenty minutes, the aroma will overflow. Add various special condiments, and it will taste particularly delicious and refreshing.
