Yongshun County delicacies include delicious rice tofu, Yongshun tomatoes, Yongshun chestnuts, five-flavor vinegar radish, Bawang soup, etc.

1. Delicious rice tofu: Rice tofu originates from Hunan and is a traditional snack in the Tujia and Miao areas.

The one produced in Yongshun County is the most famous.

Wash the rice, soak it for a day, and grind it with water to make rice paste.

Heat the rice milk in a pot, add an appropriate amount of edible alkali, and stir vigorously until cooked, then place it in a basin to cool down and serve.

2. Yongshun Tomato: Yongshun Tomato is a local specialty of Yongshun. The main varieties include Mopan Persimmon, Lotus Persimmon, Water Persimmon, Crystal Persimmon, etc.

The shapes include oval, oblate, etc.

Colors include orange, bright yellow, vermilion, etc.

The calyx is dark green.

It blooms from May to June, and the flowers are yellow and white, elegant and beautiful.

The fruit ripening period is the golden autumn season from September to October.

Tomatoes are large in size, have thick flesh, sweet pulp, and are rich in sugar, protein, vitamins and other nutrients.

3. Yongshun chestnut: Yongshun is a chestnut production area, and the climate and soil conditions are suitable for the ecological habits of chestnuts.

Chestnuts are distributed in every township in the county, mostly in Fuzhi, Gaoping, Furong and other towns. The annual purchase volume is about 800 tons, accounting for more than 1/3 of the total volume in western Hunan.

Among the varieties, the oil chestnut is the most famous and has the largest output. It is called "Yongshun oil chestnut" in the domestic market and is called Chinese Gan chestnut in the international market.

4. Five-flavor vinegar radish: In the Tujia and Miao villages in western Hunan, almost every household has a vinegar radish jar.

Vinegar radish is a favorite food for everyone, especially during the New Year, vinegar radish is indispensable on the dining table.

5. Bawang Soup: Sanhe Soup is called Bawang Soup. According to legend, when Zeng Guofan, the minister of the late Qing Dynasty, established the Hunan Army in Hunan, the soldiers of the Hunan Army suffered from rheumatism more and more due to living in the wild and lake areas for a long time, resulting in low morale.

So Zeng Guofan spent a lot of money to hire famous chefs and carefully prepared a Sanhe soup to treat rheumatism as a dish for the soldiers.
