Traditional Chinese characters refer to Chinese characters with more strokes replaced by simplified characters after simplification. The latest specification is the Comparison Table of Standardized Characters, Traditional Characters and Variant Characters, which was promulgated and implemented by the State Council on June 5th, 20th13rd. The word "little girl" is not among them, so it doesn't have to be simple and complicated. "Xiaoguai" is an inherited word, not a traditional or simplified one.
