Longteng belongs to Taihang Mountain range and is located in Wangpo Township, Pingshan County, Hebei Province. There are many strange stones, many ponds and waterfalls, deep valleys and dense vegetation in the scenic spot, which is an original ecological natural scenic spot integrating geological landscape, forest ecology and human historical landscape. It consists of four parts: Jubaogou, Hulu Valley, Emerald Valley and Xiding. There are well-preserved fortress ruins of the artillery tower during the Anti-Japanese War and rare rattan forests in the north, and the total number of scenic spots exceeds 100. The special topography here has formed a microclimate environment with warm winter and cool summer and abundant precipitation, which is called "Taihang Mountain temperate rainforest" by experts and has the reputation of "the first rattan sea in North China".
