Why do you want to go to Huashan
Xiyue Huashan is located in huayin city, 121km east of Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province. It was called Taihua Mountain in ancient times, with an altitude of 2,161m. It borders the magnanimous Weihe Plain and the roaring Yellow River in the north and the Qinling Mountains in the south. It is a granite mountain on the north side of the watershed ridge, a branch of the Qinling Mountains.
among the five peaks in Huashan, the eastern peak (Chaoyang), the western peak (Lotus) and the southern peak (Wild Goose) are higher: the eastern peak is a good place to watch the sunrise in the early morning, and the eastern and western sides of the western peak are like lotus, which is the most beautiful peak in Huashan, while the southern peak is the highest peak in Huashan. Below the three peaks are the Zhongfeng (Jade Girl) and the Beifeng (Yuntai). According to legend in Yunv Mountain, a jade girl rode into the mountains on a white horse. The summit of Yuntai is as flat as a platform in the clouds, and the famous story of "outsmarting Huashan Mountain" happened here.
There are also many places of interest in Huashan. Temples and Taoist temples, pavilions, statues and stone carvings can be seen everywhere. The famous historical sites on Huashan include Yuquanyuan, Zhenwu Palace, Jintian Palace (Baidi Temple) and other scenic spots. Xiyue Temple, 7 kilometers north of Huashan Mountain, is an ancient temple dedicated to the Huashan God of Xiyue Mountain.
Huashan cableway is 1,551 meters long, flying from the foot of the mountain along the path that "outsmarted Huashan" in that year, and reaching the North Peak, with a drop of nearly 811 meters, passing through the precipice canyons, which is spectacular. This enables Chinese and foreign tourists of different ages and constitutions to appreciate the beauty of Huashan Mountain.

The history of Huashan Mountain
As early as before the Qin Dynasty, there were records of "Yellow Emperor's cruise", "Yao Si's patrol to Huashan Mountain", Zhou Wuwang, Cheng Wang and Heng Wang's patrol to Huashan Mountain. Since Qin Shihuang began to offer sacrifices to Huashan Mountain, emperors such as Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Wu Zetian, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, and Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty have made large-scale sacrifices to Huashan Mountain. Shao Hao, the God of Huashan Mountain, was named "Golden Heaven, Italy and Shun Shengdi" by Zen. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty built the "Jiling Palace" in Huangfuyu during the Yuan-Light-Year period, and personally presided over the sacrifice and held the ceremony of closing the Zen. Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty offered sacrifices to Huashan Mountain for eleven times. Emperors of past dynasties regarded offering sacrifices to Huashan Mountain as a major event. Because the emperor worships Huashan so much, there are temples, courtyards, palaces and shrines everywhere in Huashan, and Huashan Taoists and pilgrims from all directions are even more devout.

Travel time
Huashan Mountain has different beauty in different seasons. It is dry in spring, and you can see the sea of clouds. It rains a lot in summer, but it clears up in a flash. It is sunny and rainy in autumn, and it is often foggy and snowy in winter, and the mountain road is difficult to travel. It is not recommended to come in ordinary winter. Huashan slope is steep and narrow, and most roads are very steep, even with both hands and feet. If it comes in winter, especially after snowing, the mountain road is very slippery and the risk factor is greatly increased. From the safety point of view, try to choose spring, summer and autumn to visit Huashan.

Every year from April to October, it is the tourist season in Huashan Mountain. The 15th day of the third month of the lunar calendar is a mountain-facing day, and there will be grand temple fairs and celebrations.
nowadays, except for some pilgrims, most of the Huashan Temple Fair are tourists climbing Range Rover. The activities of the temple fair are also more colorful, including the International Mountaineering Festival, China Chess Competition, calligraphy and painting, photography exhibition, and other local folk cultural activities, such as folk social fire, Shaanxi opera singing and plain drum performance. At the same time, local vendors gathered, material exchanges were active, and foreign cultural performance groups and jugglers came to entertain the performance.

About food
I'm afraid there are no tourists who come to Huashan to eat and drink ... The food in Huayin County is almost exactly the same as that in Xi 'an.
Of course, there are many folk snacks in Huashan, including Shaanxi specialties, such as flour flowers, sesame food, buckwheat bean jelly, Guo kui, beef and mutton soaked in desert and so on. There are also Huashan specialty snacks, such as cold rice noodles, bean jelly, fried dumpling, big knife noodles, bean curd, water chestnut noodles and yellow river catfish, which make people linger after tasting. There are many restaurants and hotels on Yuquan Road at the foot of Huashan Mountain, and in huayin city, so it is very convenient to eat.
"Since ancient times, there is only one way to Huashan Mountain"-a strategy for traveling around Huashan Mountain
It's best to bring your own food when climbing Huashan Mountain, because the food in restaurants on the mountain is expensive, but the taste is not necessarily good. In addition, there is a shortage of drinking water on Huashan Mountain, so don't forget to prepare more bottles of mineral water. The price of Huashan Mountain is absolutely proportional to the altitude, so it depends on your own ideas whether you choose to bear the burden or save money.

About Shopping
There are many small shops at the entrance of Yuquanyuan Mountain at the foot of Huashan Mountain, and many local people set up stalls along Huashan Mountain to sell various commodities, mostly small souvenirs from Mount Huashan and some handicrafts with Shaanxi folk customs. The price is cheaper at the foot of the mountain, and the more expensive it is at the top of the mountain, you can bargain, but it should be noted that if you negotiate the price and don't buy it, unpleasant things may happen.
Locks seem to be a must-have for tourists here. Copper locks of various styles are used to hang on chains in various places on Huashan Mountain, representing different wishes. After locking them, throw away the keys in order to realize the wishes. The lock can also be engraved. Locks at the foot of the mountain are more expensive than those on the mountain. You can buy them in Jinsuo Pass after going up the mountain, and the cheapest one is probably 3 yuan.

About accommodation
You don't have to worry about accommodation in Huashan, but the conditions are not very good, so you should be mentally prepared.
Suggestions on Mount Huashan
1. There are many cliffs in Mount Huashan, but garbage bins are widely distributed. If there is any garbage, try to throw it into the garbage bins. If you really can't find a trash can nearby, put it on the side of the road. Don't throw it off the cliff. When you go back, the cleaner has to hang a rope to pick it up. It's just a life to make up for what some uncivilized tourists have done. Don't be so wicked!
2. There are many small scenic spots from Yuquanyuan to Beifeng, but they are almost closed. In my opinion, these scenic spots are all beside the main road. If there are still forks in the road, I suggest not to go. It's nothing to watch, and it will consume precious physical energy on the mountain.
3. It is strongly recommended to buy gloves outside! Don't be too high-end, the most common ones used by workers are enough, and some old people outside the scenic spot can buy a pair in 2 yuan (the lowest price). In Huashan, whether you are hiking up or down the mountain, you should make good use of your hands at steep places! In many places, you have to pull chains or hold mountain walls. Using your hands well will save a lot of energy and be safer. If you don't have gloves, when you go down the mountain, you will find that your hands have lost a layer of skin.
4. Some friends who are afraid of heights should give up ... Some tourists may use hiking sticks, but on the whole, they are of little use in Huashan Mountain, because many places need to use their hands and feet, and carrying them will occupy their hands.
5. Huashan ticket includes three scenic spots: Huashan, Xianyu and Xiyue Temple. Most people end their trip after climbing Huashan Mountain, but I still suggest going to Xianyu and Xiyue Temple to have a look. The scenery is also very good, and ... all the money has been spent, so don't look at it without looking at it.
