Is the circle of friends sent to yourself or to others?

In my opinion, the circle of friends is sent to myself as well as to others. I send it to myself, mainly because I want to record something through my circle of friends. Just like keeping a diary in primary school, there is a platform to record some of your thoughts and daily life, and when you have time, look over it and have a look at your past. At the same time, I also hope to use this platform to share some of my ideas with my friends, relatives and colleagues. You indirectly tell everyone through your circle of friends what kind of person you are, your personality, your hobbies, and your daily life, so that everyone can know you and remember you.

Personally, I think that if the circle of friends is more for people to watch, they may have a happier life, because they just really want to record something and are not so constrained by secular vision. They will not affect their mood because of the number of comments they like. I especially envy such people, because I can't do it myself. After sending a circle of friends, I still can't help but pay attention to whether anyone likes comments. In order to get rid of this somewhat disturbing idea, I switched to Weibo instead of my circle of friends for a while, because Weibo is an open and private space. There are no classmates, colleagues, teachers and the like in Weibo except some very close friends, so you can speak freely there, even if you don't get a reply, you can send it casually, whether you are happy or not, and you can write and send it. So now I am less likely to update my circle of friends and more likely to write some of my daily thoughts in Weibo.
